Hi, I’m Ivan

I was 12 when I got my first computer, a Commodore 64, and I think that is where it all started. I fell in love with computers back then and never really got over it.

So I studied computer science, and about ten years ago I started working in the tech industry. I came up through system administration, keeping machines and networks running, and over the years that turned into a job as a system engineer.

PC Control Lab is where I talk about tech: Windows, Samsung phones, privacy and security, and whatever else catches my interest. When there is a problem to solve, I walk through the solution step by step. It started as a YouTube channel, and on this site I also write guides you can follow at your own pace.

I lean toward free tools whenever they do the job, so you will see a lot of them here.
